A team of 13 based in Madrid, Spain, Muroexe is doing things differently. For one thing, the company produces only a few new models every year, each one meticulously researched and designed from the start with the wearer in mind. For another, it takes a deliberate “less is more” approach, striving to find the ideal balance between no-frills functionality and streamlined aesthetics. The result is revolutionary footwear like the Atom Volcano, a bootie version of the company’s popular Atom shoe. This sneakerboot hybrid features a waterproof construction with an elastic collar that allows for a perfect fit around the ankle. It also has ergonomic memory-foam insoles and mountain fastening bindings. Playful details include dotted laces and a contrast-bezel sole.
Note: At checkout, you’ll have your choice of color (black, lite blue, navy, or off-white) and size (US 7, 8, 8.5, 9.5, 10, 11, 11.5, or 12.5).
