pmfarrBecause its $360 for some pieces of wood, some screws, and some nylon cord? Why would anyone want this? For the same price you could just buy another laptop to prop your other one on.

alienator064$360 for a desk is actually pretty cheap. I work in professional audio and the desks they try to sell us are in the $3,000-$4,000 camp. If you were to pay a carpenter to build you a custom desk you'd be spending around $2,500 on parts and labor. $360 is chump change for a well designed desk. Every desk is wood and screws.
