What exactly is your question?
You are shocked we can get it or you have another mic you would like to see offered?
Either way, MXL microphones are amazing mics, and unfortunately not enough people give them the love they deserve. While it is true the mic you use is specific to the producer and the style or genre they are working with, a great mic is just that; a great mic! For hip-hop, you really do not need a great mic to be honest, capture so-called nuances in the voice are not nearly as important. Merely reproducing what they said clearly is necessary, anything else can be added in post-production to enhance the "voice". But when working with a good vocalist or singer, or trying to capture the voicing of a fine instrument, a good mic is a must. Ever try recording a didgeridoo? Not the easiest thing in the word, let me tell you.
Please respond with any questions or comments you may have about pro-audio, the mic or other products you see or don't see here. We love and appreciate your enthusiasm, keep it up!
My comment was on the poll, idk why it is here. There were different and better (IMO) mics on the poll and this one got selected (if i remember correctly) still! from MXL i prefer V67 or V69 series.
Stay tuned, the MXL v67 may be returning with some added goodies!
