MXL LSM3 Mic Bundle

I have one of these mics and it's great. I got it on sale at guitar center a year or so ago for $20 though. It's definitely hot and cut's through the mix with ease. I like it more than my Blue encore 100's which compare favorably to SM58's.

ByPhotoGuy72on May 27, 2015 Understand that the SM58 is the classic, but this really is a solid live mic. Personally, I would not intend to use this mic in the studio as previous reviewers had mentioned. It certainly can be used for that, but it's meant to really shine in live situations. I love it and would really recommend it for a strong cardiod pattern mic that mixes it up from the typical SM58 used since the beginning of time. Does it have a hotter output? Yes, but how many times do you want to "encourage" your singers to not be timid in front of the mix. Bam...this is a beauteous mic for that alone.
