Why does the MXRSKEY CK650 65% that was not Drop, had a Battery capacity: 8,000 mAh & this MXRSKEY CK820 75% layout only shows a 3,000 mAh Battery Capacity?
Ck820 was their first iteration. They improved the overall design with the ck650. This includes the addition of IPXE foam, pcb foam, better case foam, and of course the much larger battery. The switch for the BT/2.4 and Mac/windows has also been improved. I wish they had done this with the ck820, but they didn't. I did end up buying the foam pack for the ck820, which is what is now included as standard in the ck650.
OrlyyHey Orlyy. Understood. I really wanted the CK650, I even placed the Pre-order, but then got cancelled. I was impressed at the Structure set of the keyboard & that Battery size as well. It would be awesome to have the 75% CK820 set up with the same battery size or slightly bigger for the size of the Keyboard.
K3yW1ssI agree lol, I'm half tempted to order a ck650 and see if I can transfer over the battery. Where did you place it? As far as I'm aware epomaker is the only site where I can personally order.
It says it supports a 2.4 GHz wireless connection, but the list of included items does not include a dongle. Is a wireless dongle included? If so, I would assume it operates on USB 2.0... does it have a USB-A or USB-C connector?
@MountainPass Hello! Yes, the kit includes a 2.4g dongle and it includes a USB-A connector. Thank you for calling this out- we will add the dongle to the Specs.
