Flip a traditional briefcase on its side and you’ll get something similar to the Mystery Ranch Dallas Bag. Outfitted with a generous U-shaped main compartment, it holds up to 9 liters, and you can fold it down into a mobile desk drawer if you choose Read More
So the compartment is 11" by 10", but the inside of the bag is likely just under 14" by 12" (the overall dimensions). Wonder if my X1 Yoga would fit, as it's 9" wide by 13" long. Would maybe slide into the sleeve most of the way, but then hopefully still allow the bag to be zipped shut? Any way for our MD friends to check the overall length dimension inside the bag, so see what size computers could slide into the pocket but still allow the bag to be closed? Thanks!
Wait! I think this is actually a pretty awesome bag. Mystery ranch is a small but well-respected company that has a lot of military contracts. I’m trying to read a little bit more about this particular bag, but it meets all of my requirements for an EDC bag: it has a vertical orientation, good handles for easy pick up, a removable shoulder strap, and lots of compartments. If you look carefully, many of the cheap bags will be missing some or all of these features. This bag also does list at a significantly higher price, so this is actually quite a good deal on it.
I’m trying to find more reviews, but I would feel bad if people dismissed this too early and missed a good bag.
