Perfect for day use and longer hikes where it can be stored in main pack and brought out for day trips, summits. Heaps of pockets. Only one minor criticism is water bottle pocket is fiddly.
Awesome backpack! Didn't find it too difficult to fold it back into the pocket.
The backpack itself feels very firm against the back and shoulders, not flimsy like other foldably backpacks, even with some weight. Plenty of space and pockets (one large compartment, one small pocket and one net pocket). Doesn't look out of place in the city as well.
Only one criticism - the rubber band on the side bottle pocket is very restricting. I wish the would make it looser. But I suppose it's fixable manually.

This appears to be very well made. All zippers and hardware are sturdy and I expect that the backpack will hold up for a long time. Pockets/attachment straps/etc. all seem to be pretty well thought out and useful. The water bottle pocket on the side of the pack is very tight, but stretches and will fit a 40 oz. kleen kanteen or a Nalgene bottle with a little bit of effort. Pretty cool that there is also a designated spot for an h2o bladder, if you choose to use that.
A couple of criticisms -
-Good luck folding it back into its storage pocket once you've taken it out. Not a big deal to me, but if you are someone who thinks you are going to be able to store this away easily in its pouch between uses, I'd consider pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering first..
-The "Henna" backpack is purple. Some of the stock photos online made it look like a darker maroon/reddish color, which I thought I'd try to be different than my usual boring black... It's purple, no two ways about it. Like Barney the f*cking Dinosaur purple.. Should have known haha. It's still a really nice pack, but be forewarned if you select that color..
