Product Description
Inspired by the heyday of fountain pens, when faceted designs were often used for high-end models, the Namisu Ixion presents this vintage element in a modern light. The cap is faceted, while the barrel is smooth and round—and both are made of precision-machined, anodized aluminum Read More

Have this, bought from Namisu and the Nova. This one has a small ledge on the tapering down towards the nib that makes it quite nice to hold. Bock nibs means there are plenty of ways to change nib/nib unit if you aren't satisfied with how it writes. Nice pen overall if you like aluminum pens.

Anyone know if a Kaweco clip fits on this pen?

It’s nothing like an AL sport— it’s much bigger, first of all, and uses a #6 nib. Anyway, I bought one of these direct from Namisu during their recent sale for about the same as this drop price (plus shipping). Having had an Orion in the past, and not liking it too much, I didn’t have extremely high hopes, but I liked the color and design so I decided to pull the trigger. I’m glad I did. This is an excellent pen. The bock nib writes well out of the box, and it has a nice heft and good balance unposted. The section is nicely sized and the finish is grippy. Two caveats: I wish the nib were set a little deeper into the section—sort of feels like it’s not all the way in. And it’s too long for me posted. But ymmv.

writerstephenI agree on everything you said. I enjoy both of mine, and would suggest this pen to anyone who wants a well balanced, slightly hefty pen that writes well.

writerstephenAgreed! I read the reviews and decided to take the plunge and I'm glad as well. The pen is a good size, for those who like a bit longer and thicker pen than the Kaweco Sport. I was pleasantly surprised that the pen is well-balanced, the nib was very smooth out of the box. I chose the F and glad I did as, with most European pens, it's more of a Japanese / Chinese M. Threads on the pen are also very smooth and the included full-size converter is a bonus. You're also spot-on about the finish being a bit grippy and, while I usually post my pens, I don't with this one as I find it changes the balance of the pen. Overall, I'm very impressed.

cbbrowneHello, yes a clip is the only thing I miss at my Ixion. Is there a way to add one? The top of the cap is removeable, so a clip could be added?
