From Scottish pen company Namisu comes the X-01, a capless rollerball inspired by the aerodynamic lines of spacecraft. Each one is precision machined from a solid piece of metal—your choice of aluminum, brass, or titanium—and boasts a distinct feel and superb balance in the hand Read More
Unfortunately, I'm disappointed. My very low use pen is no longer able to keep the refill extended in use. Even with gentle pressure when writing, the pen slowly retracts to the point where I have to re-twist it to extend again. I literally can only write a couple of lines at a time. Very displeased and would not recommend at this point.
I opted for titanium and I'm not disappointed. Clever design, flawless execution. The Schmidt refill is a great choice. My only feedback is that I need to find a leather or synthetic pouch/sleeve for it! You guys should offer one as an upgrade option.
Bought the aluminum pen on their kickstarter to test it out. Good finish and sleek design and an interesting twist mechanism. One thing I was wondering is if the rubber o-ring for the twist mechanism has been updated/changed to a thicker one. The tip on mine starts to recede when pressure is applied because the o-ring doesn't have enough friction to keep the twist knob in place.
Abula You can also use most parker-style refills, so you can turn it into a ballpoint instead of a rollerball.
Here is the list I lifted from www.wellappointeddesk.com:

Faber-Castell Ballpoint Pen Refill
Faber-Castell Scribero Gel Ink Roller Refill
Fisher Space Pen Refill, PR Series- Colors (Bold, Medium, Fine)
Fisher Space Pen – Universal Ballpoint Refill
Foray (Office Depot) Ballpoint Refill for Parker (Medium)
Interesting and appealing design. I'd prefer it have a clip which would make it more useful for everyday use for me (I understand the designers may have a different aesthetic in mind).
As a side note I asked for a reminder to join at the lowest price rather than used the "Commit" button which seems to be missing. Is this a change?
PinkPandaThanks! I just did some searching for newer drops and saw both the Commit and Join Drop buttons. Didn't realize some drops begin at the lowest price right off the bat.
