Color-Coded Sound

The main attraction in the MASCHINE’s latest models is their addition of multi-color illumination in the velocity sensitive pads. In addition to assigning different groups and controlling your settings with the rotary encoders and master push encoder, you can set different instrument groups to various shades, giving you a colorful and easily processed representation of your musical arrangement.

Connectivity and Compatibility

As the two inverted displays can showcase all of the settings, track positioning, and general editing tools that you need for basic songwriting, you can whip up a batch of beats without touching your computer. Once you connect through the USB 2.0 port, however, you unlock a world of potential with the advanced sequencing capabilities and immense sound library found in the included MASCHINE software. Should you prefer to use your Native Instruments MASCHINE MK2 with your own program, the device is fully compatible with most software.
