Made without animal byproducts, they’re not only water-resistant and washable but also shock-proof and odor-resistant. And at just 6 ounces per shoe, they’re barely noticeable on the foot. The perfect summer sneaker to wear without socks, the Apollo Moc is fitted with rubber inserts at the toe and heel for added protection.

About Native Shoes
In 2009, Vancouver-based Native set out to create a new kind of shoe. The design would hew closely to the classics, but the materials would be radically different. From microfiber to EVA (that’s ethylene-vinyl acetate, a rubber-like material), the shoes are lightweight, washable, breathable, waterproof, and odor-resistant, not to mention animal-free. Isn’t that everything a shoe should be?
