the 26800mAh is a really nice unit, i would have definitely purchased it right away, if it wasn't for the excessive capacity of 26,800mAh. there is a strict policy on airline security for carrying batteries in either carry-on, hold luggage or as personal item. 100Wh is the maximum rated capacity allowed for any standalone battery or powered device. For a lithium-ion, it's probably 3.7V so ~99.16Wh, just shy of the 100Wh limit. BUT the unit itself has no clear indication of the nominal lithium-ion voltage.. so I'm not going to risk it being confiscated at the airport and me getting stuck with no backup power. and then there's the crippled 13400 which is a no-go for me.. 18W output is no good for a laptop. just a heads up. the newly released Xiaomi Power Bank 3C (20000mAh) costs half the price, almost twice the capacity, and supports 45W. https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/01/04/xiaomi-mi-power-bank-3-offers-45w-usb-c-charging-and-20000mah-capacity-launches-for-29-in-china/

LQDForceJust an FYI.... I have carried the 26,800mAh offered in this drop and the 27000mAh volt from Naztech at the same time through dozens of domestic and international flights from LAX, DFW, SFO, HKG, PVG, and others without any problems at all. Along with me on many of these flights were 3x 18-Volt 6.0 Ah Ryobi tool batteries. No one at any TSA checkpoints has even looked at them or taken them out of my bag.

LQDForceThe Xiaomi is $59.99 plus $6.18 shipping on Banggood, doesn't seem like such a great deal https://www.banggood.com/Original-Xiaomi-Power-Bank-3-20000mAh-USB-C-Two-way-45W-QC3_0-Fast-Charge-Power-Bank-for-Mobile-Phone-p-1409878.html?rmmds=buy&cur_warehouse=CN#customerQA Also the FAA allows up to 160Wh batteries, at the airlines discretion "Size limits: Lithium metal (non-rechargeable) batteries are limited to 2 grams of lithium per battery. Lithium ion (rechargeable) batteries are limited to a rating of 100 watt hours (Wh) per battery. These limits allow for nearly all types of lithium batteries used by the average person in their electronic devices. With airline approval, passengers may also carry up to two spare larger lithium ion batteries (101-160 watt hours). This size covers the larger after-market extended-life laptop computer batteries and some larger batteries used in professional audio/visual equipment."

TweeterI actually purchased mine on banggood. There are price drops and occasional coupon codes, should cost 40-45 tops.

I would buy the Naztech if they add Qualcomm's Quick Charge to this model. I need a portable battery to quickly charge both my phone and notebook, and also serve as a continuous power source for my mirrorless cameras. EDIT: @Tweeter can find it on AliExpress too, there's a $5 coupon now so can be purchased for $40 or lower.

LQDForceI don’t know where you’re getting the 18w in your earlier post, but this 26800 is 60wPD and blows my other PD powerbanks out of the water for charging my MacBook Pro. In fact, my Mac’s internal has often been nearly depleted but the Naztech will power the Mac and fully recharged the internal battery simultaneously. I’m sure the 20000 Xiaomi is a fine piece of kit. But I’ll stick with this powerhouse for my needs. And it didn’t need to go through Customs for a week like most items I order from China. And comparing prices with something you happen to have a coupon for that may not be available to all buyers isn’t a fair comparison. 🤔

glennac18w is the 13400mAh model which i was referring to, in comparison to the 26800mAh. both units are featured on this drop. Sadly, mobile phones have yet to adopt the USB-PD standard and most of them only support 15W (5V/3A) on paper , which is effectively ~10W due to thermal throttling, even half of that after battery is charged to more than 50% capacity. in comparison, QC4+ is 27W , charges super fast up to 85% and most importantly, generates far less heat which means better battery health in the long run. only the 13400mAh model supports QC 3.0 . other than that, i totally agree about the 60W PD. i am still on the fence, might buy this too. specs are too good to pass on :) btw - the aliexpress coupon is not exclusive, it is available to every customer under 'my account' (new customers and existing customers alike).
