Is this full power USB-C? As in can you charge a full size laptop or Nintendo Switch with it? I guess the question is somewhat moot with it having the 3 prong connector but it's good to know anyways.
Yes for the Switch. The Switch has a peak power draw of 8.75W, and the USB-C port can supply 15W (5V * 3A = 15W).
As for a "full sized" laptop, most likely not. 5V/3A is only 15W of power. That's enough for something like a MacBook (barely), but probably not a 15" that's powered via USB-C. You'll want the AC out which can supply up to 85W (120V/0.7A). Even the MacBook is iffy, since it's spec'd to use a 29W charger by default, which means during heavy use, you'll be needing more power than the USB-C port can supply, meaning the laptop will have to start draining the battery to compensate.
No, this USB-C port does not support PD which is required for power higher than 15W. It will technically charge a laptop or a Switch, but only if the device is off. Otherwise, it will just slow down the battery drain. If USB-C charging is your requirement, this is a terrible device for any laptop or the Switch.
