This might be an stupid question but... how do you charge this powerbank? AC or USB?
If USB, is it quick charge compatible? (Most powerbanks doesn't have QC IN)
USB-C is both input/output and will be used to charge the device. USB-C is faster and can accept/deliver more power than a QC port.
My unit just showed up and it is showing the usb-c as output only?
To my knowledge the USB-C should work both ways. However it is not PD.
Yep I see its not PD for sure but it looks like it is only able to be used for output not input.
If you take a look at the photos it seems to have a round DC in that’s charging labeled input (not trying to be snarky, but I’m taking a likely guess and don’t want to sound totally sure).
Any concrete answer on this yet? If it can't be charged via USB-C, I'm not interested. I have a ton of those generic barrel connector power adapters, and I will most likely misplace it within a year.
The Power bank will only charge with the 40w DC input on the back. There is an included AC to DC power converter in order to charge the battery. The type-c connection is output only. As it was stated previously, in the pictures there is one that shows the "barrel" input. However, unless you can keep track of a usb-c cable easier that the included cable, I don't see a reason not to buy it if that is the only reason you wouldn't.
It comes with a AC adapter to charge the unit up
