I've got the phone. It's the most disappointing experience ever. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Got it from Kickstarter as early bird for $349 a while ago. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nextbit/robin-the-smarter-smartphone
Outdoor screen brightness is disappointing. The performance is disappointing. The lack of support for the main feature for 3rd party launchers is disappointing. LTE works fine, but seems like HSDPA is not - there are areas I've travelled at where the phone displayed full coverage, but was unable to exchange even one byte with remote servers, while a friend of mine sitting next to me was rocking at YouTube with 1080p with Nexus 5.
If you are developer, this phone is not for you too. Got my USB cable replaced, because the initial one failed to cope with adb. Nextbit was so kind as to send a spare one free of charge - it worked for about a week. I know how to store my items, so don't blame me for that. I've got it working ever since with the cable I've got for my OnePlus 3, which is somewhat good news.
Probably the only nice things I can say about the Nextbit Robin are the speakers and the fact it runs stock Android 6.0.1. The fingerprint is nicely positioned and works most of the time. It does not cope well with humidity. I have visited the Dominican Republic a month ago and the fingerprint sensor was non-operational. The phone claimed the fingerprint hardware failed. Went back to Europe and it fixed itself.
Anything you would like to ask? Go on. Will try to respond to every single question.

nikola_petkanskiHey there, sorry to hear that you had trouble with your device. May I ask what you mean by "lack of support for the main feature for 3rd party launchers"? Also, we have many developer teams working on ROMs for the device. Soon we expect to have Paranoid Android. The team there has been awesome to talk to, and they have an alpha build almost ready ;)

NextbitHey Nextbit,
Probably it wasn't clear, sorry for that. The main feature of the phone is the cloud storage capability, right? I mean to say that custom launchers are not supported.
Getting Paranoid Android on board is a nice addition. Kudos for that.

nikola_petkanskiCustom launchers are supported. So, using one like Nova won't be a problem.
