Got mine. Wrote a decent review on it. I think the one thing they could've done differently is, having a Phillips head screwdriver with an actual shaft on it. That's the one thing I missed about my old Gerber, because I could actually use it to open stuff with it, like the laptop it's laying on. Unless it's flush with a large surface, the screwdriver on this is kinda useless. Other than that, no disappointments here.

I bought this in June 2019. I fiddled with it a bit, and left it on my desk. A few days ago, having barely used it previously, I tried to use the scissors and discovered that the mechanism broke. I contacted Drop support and was told that the 30 day return period expired. I asked for the manufacturer’s contact information for a warranty replacement, and here is the response I got from Drop: ”Unfortunately we are not able to give out manufacturer contact information due to prior contracts and agreements. At Drop, we purchase our inventory through authorized dealers. As we then pass along this inventory to our members, we are a third party retailer. As the tool was not purchased directly from the manufacturer, any warranty provided may not be honored, as the purchase was made via a third party. As we are the direct buyer, the warranty is not transferable to the member unless otherwise stated on the run page. “ I would never have purchased this if I’d known it didn’t come with the manufacturer’s warranty. As you might imagine, I am very disappointed with this response. If Drop doesn’t change their mind quickly I’ll be filing a consumer fraud complaint with my state Attorney General, and I’ll also be reaching out to my credit card company for a chargeback.

In the interest of settling once and for all the debate on whether one should by this multitool for thirty bucks or a Leatherman for sixty-bucks, I would point potential buyers to this official Leatherman video where they demonstrate the Sidekick's mike-dropping superiority at zucchini slicing! Don't try that with an inexpensive copy-cat device like the Nextool Flagship 16-in-1 Pro Multi-tool!

This looks interesting but there are two stand-out issues. First, there is no file. Second, the blade is only 5Cr15Mov. That's not very good. I wouldn't expect premium steel here but at least give us 8Cr13Mov. Heck, 7Cr17Mov would have been fine. In 2019, 5Cr15Mov just seems south of acceptable.

I carry my cheap P9 Mora for some more serious cutting and in my experience even a good swiss army knife(multitool) can dull out pretty easy so it doesn't hurt to learn some blade maintenance skills. But I agree that someone who uses it constantly should consider getting a more high end option from leatherman or so on.

Leatherman Wingman is my everyday multitool. And it's still not the kind of steel I would admire. The screwdriver, which is also a mini measure and file (crazy connection) is already skewed, and the pliers have a slight hesitation whether to work in a straight line. In general, however, I am very impressed with how much this not too expensive tool can stand (and, in moment, easy did not have) Very medium blade; really, in such tools this Snadvik should be the minimum.

Seems like a good value multi-tool, but it is a shame that that Nextool could not have added a belt pouch/sheath, and instead just supplies a rinky dink bag. Compare this Nextool Multi-Tool to the Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier/Tool, and the nice ballistic nylon sheath that comes included with the multi tool! Only $19.99 today on Amazon too! https://www.amazon.com/Gerber-22-01471-Suspension-Multi-Plier/dp/B000EDPT9K?ref_=nav_ya_signin&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER& I guess that I am supposed to put the multi-tool in the bag, and stuff it in my pocket, or just carry it around in my hands! Not convenient when reaching for the tool frequently, and not that comfortable. Who wants a lot of stuff, and gear weighing them down in their pockets, when they could have a nice belt pouch/sheath, that makes the tool easily accessible. Does anyone carry a knife around in a bag, or their hands? Other than that miscue, looks pretty good...maybe I can buy a multi tool pouch/sheath somewhere, but for now, I think I'll pick up the Gerber Suspension for only $19.99 with a sheath. It's been around for a few years, is tried and tested, and has very good reviews.

I bought one of these in the last round. This multi-tool is beefy but all the tools seem to snap into place and function as they should. I was really surprised as I was not expecting this much quality for this low of a price. I'm now thinking about purchasing more for Christmas gifts.
