....and just when I was convinced that HogDog Pocket Puck was the most useless thing here, I find something like this. This monstrosity is almost sufficient to make me order on of those $55 dollar dope holders. Excuse me, I shouldn't call this a monstrosity. It's too tiny. Maybe it's true use is for protection against chihuahuas. The Pocket Puck came in such pretty colors.

SevalenOf course it is--I'm eating a big bowl of Linguine con le Vongole with mine, as we speak. Pay no attention to these fools who suggest otherwise!

Keep in mind that the Blade steel is 12C27. It's a little confusing on the Drops description. 3Cr is the steel used on the Prybar!

This is a very useful tool. The blade coating keeping those glue markings when you open a box away from it and it's much more convenient to pull it out when you are in Non Knife public! It has also a Prybar and the quality is amazingly good! However, the price is just about the same on any other places for instance and you don't need to wait!

These products always confuse me, what do people actually use a 10cm "prybar" for?

CatpantsI found a use for my old Gerber Artifact every other day it seemed. The one I remember the best, because it saved me, was cracking open my car's frozen fuel door. I like your user-name by the way.

netaddictThat's the only reason I would carry this instead of a pocket knife, and I bet that it would depend on your TSA agent and your appearance. Also, the part that it locks open might clinch it as "No". I'd be willing to try it out at my next trip for $10, but not a $25 sacrifice for the security theater gods.

2Cr13 is a very basic steel. Anyone know if good to go or commonly used for this application?

Hmm, maybe I’m missing something. I read the description as the blade being 2Cr13 and the rest of the tool is 12C27 not the other way around.

LazarusLongA rule of thumb that has yet to let me down, the more superior steel will be the knife steel - unless your dealing with an unscrupulous manufacturer. Then all bet's are off as to what you will receive in the mail... Also, an opinion of mine - chinese steels BELOW 5cr15mov are better suited for handle material due to their toughness, corrosion resistance, and inability to hold an edge for longer than a nano second. Sorry for the slight necro-posting, didn't realize till just now that your comment was made in July lol
