The pen does pen things well, but the real stand-out feature here is the fidget spinner at the back of the pen. Meetings are SO much more bearable now. Indispensable.
Good quality build but ink reliability aint great.
Love the quality of the pen itself but the ink cartridge seems to struggle working and is inconsistent. Not a pro at pens so unsure if this is normal but I don't enjoy it.
Very well made and better than anticipated. The spinner on the end spins very well and was an added bonus. The pen is well constructed and the tactical piece is very satisfying/works well.
This is a fine pen that writes well. It’s lighter than expected, but not flimsy. Compared to similar items, this seems like a good value. Perhaps a bit misleading, but I expected an ink refill to be included; there wasn’t one..
Also, there is no ‘titanium pick’ that I can see... the ‘glass-breaker’ could hardly be called a ‘pick’.. so..🙄
The tip, when in the fully extended and locked position, does not protrude from the end of the pen (see photo). Making the one I got useless. I shipped it back today, Drop was good and prompt about arranging the return and replacement. I'll update this once I get the new one. I'm hoping they just forgot an internal riser in this one.
My pen finally arrived, and I have to say that it's a mixed bag, but mostly positive. The ink refill... useless. It went in the trash and in went my Schneider Gelion39 refill. The bolt action is a bit gritty, but after 2 drops of Krytox 100 oil, it is smoother. I suspect it will smooth out even more as I use it. The fidget spinner on top is great! One drop of Krytox and it was spinning twice as long. It won't be nearly as annoying to the people around me as my current bolt action is when I constantly flick the bolt. It is lighter than I expected it to be, which means the barrel is very, very thin. Of course, I'm coming from a solid brass bolt action pen that is considerably heavier and longer, which brings me to my next point: this pen could stand to be about 1/2" - 3/4" longer to give it a little better balance. The balance is quite nice as it is, but since it is so light, I think a little extra length would help with the balance as I write with it. We will see if I can get it disassembled completely so that I can anodize the parts. I didn't order an anodized one because I want to decide what colors to use. In all, not a bad pen!
pen writes well and fits in the hand well (medium hand) the spinner on the top makes yo fidget with it for a prolonged time and amused. only minus is that the bolt sometimes gets caught in the small slit cut into my shirt pocket and gets snagged. but with proper manipulation, it gets easy to get it in and out.
I guess it just feels a little too light ( I know its titanium) I just wish it had a little more weight. Fidget aspect is great though . Takes Parker refill.
