Solid Torch With Great Battery
I can't tell you how many aluminum flashlights I have purchased in the last few years - they have used batteries ranging from AAA to the 18650 cell - but invariably there comes a time when you grab them and the power is down or out - usually without much of a warning. This torch is amazingly bright, but also lets you know the status of the charge every time you use it. It lasts and won't let you down. My wife took it away from me. I thought she would give it back when she couldn't figure out how to charge it (have to unscrew the head until the USB-C port appears) But she actually read the instructions. That is commitment!

Awesome Flashlight
I sadly have a weakness for buying flashlights and knives. I don't go overboard with expensive items, but for ones at $50ish I can't help myself. This one currently takes the spot of the brightest light I have. As I have said... I don't go over the $50ish range so keep that in mind. I mean you can get lights that can blind everyone around you if you want to spend more.

Accidentally blind yourself!
For the price, this flashlight is amazing. Build quality is there with those old police D battery lights. You could seriously beat some random civilian who is "resisting arrest" with this thing! Unfunny jokes aside, the light output is astonishing. The beam is wide and VERY bright. The center of the beam however is blinding. And I'm not kidding, shining this thing into your eyes isn't a good idea. Every time you turn this thing on, whatever you are pointing at will immediately get pissed, but will be very well illuminated. And therein lies the problem - you will be constantly apologizing to any human in a 500 yard cone in front of you whenever you turn on this light BECAUSE THERE'S NO MEMORY FUNCTION. Every time I turn the damn thing on, I have to press the business end onto myself to block the light until I can half-press the button a few times (by the way, this thing will burn you if it's on the highest setting for too long). The damn thing has an SOS setting which is great but I will never use, but how hard could it possibly be to implement a memory setting which is 1000x more practical? Was really confused on how to open the thing so I could charge it, turns out the top of the light that you need to twist comes packaged really tight, and is lubed up with grease which acts as a sealant. Charges fast, and has some pretty neat blue LED indicators. I've never had the battery run out, mostly because I only have ever used the light on the second-to-dimmest and dimmest settings while out camping/fishing, and always charge it once I get home the next day. I really don't see a reason to use the highest setting unless you need to get an airplane's attention for your rescue or you are using it as a searchlight for something very far away.

unscrew the top to plug in the charging cable (port on light is usb-c)

TLDR: Very bright/great hefty build/Relatively Fast charge/Long battery life/different light output settings/No memory function

nice weight to it, solid craftsmanship and mostly importantly, it is very bright. Using it indoors feels like the sun is in the room

Great light, HORRIBLE support
The light arrived with a dislodged power button cover. I contacted Drop support and was informed the light does not have a manufacturers warranty and no replacements were available. I can find no reference in the description indicating the lack of warranty support. Disappointing experience that will affect my decision to purchase items from Drop in the future. Buyer Beware

wmgwizardAccording to the instructions that came with mine it DOES have 1 yr manufacturers warranty. It states "In normal use, Nextool guarantee free maintenance service for quality problem within one year from date of purchasing.". I myself had Drop replace or refund defective items with no problems. I would contact Drop again and again til something was done about it.

Bright as heck
It’s really bright. The light pattern has a pretty intense center that makes the flashlight appear brighter than its 2200lm would suggest. Initially I bought this for my grandparents (they still have a massive D cell battery powered flashlight from the 90s) but it’s not very suitable for old people (and regular people) due to the blinding center beam and that the light defaults to maximum brightness whenever you turn it on (you can’t use it in the middle of the night to light your way to the bathroom because you’ll summon the fellowship for aid). On the other hand, this absolute unit would make a pretty good baton after blinding a potential attacker. This is a very niche product.

Fantastic inexpensive light
I have, at various times in my life, had many, many high end flashlights. Started with Surefire, have had lights from half a dozen custom makers, titanium, hand built, you name it. A few getting up to the low 4 digits in price. This light is not one of them. What this light is, at THIS price point, is a testament to how far high powered LED flashlights have come. A simple UI (which I prefer for a light like this). Seems durable. 4 very usable wel thought out light levels. And inexpensive enough to leave one on the bedside, one by the back door, and one by the dog walking jacket. My only regret is that I didn’t buy a couple more. GREAT tool and amazing value.

Nice flashlight
Great so far. The included rope/tether/leash broke just by it falling once (it has wire in it).... so that is pretty much garbage, but the light has been pretty good so far.
