Nice compact light.

A well made small light that comes with a mount for a vest, pack or belt. It takes a AAA battery, which is easy to install and change. I plan on using it when I ride my Harley, just in case I need it.

Close, but no

Just received this today, in the amber flavor. I put the supplied AAA Energizer battery in, watched the lights blink randomly as i screwed the cap on, then the lights went out completely when the cap was tightened all the way down. I repeated, then took the battery out, and put it back, then tried the switch again. Same result. I replaced that battery with an Eneloop NiCad, and the light seems to work as intended; it cycles through brighter steady, dimmer steady, and quick blinking. Oddly, the Energizer seems to work fine in another flashlight. The casing of the light seems solid, and the brightness of the lights useful. One big problem, though. The switch engages with only about 1.3 full turns of the cap from when you just start to thread it onto the body of the light. So, when you turn the light off enough that it can't accidentally turn on if you press on the cap a bit, there's only about a full turn's worth of threads holding the cap onto the light. No way the cap and light are going to stay connected for more than a day if you carry the light on a keychain. Easy way to lose the body of the light. There are about 3.5 turns of the cap between when the switch first engages and when the cap tightens all the way and bottoms out. So, there's plenty of room in that distance for the switch to have been located farther down the run to eliminate this problem. If these are designed this way (as opposed to some kind of manufacturing glitch), i'm not sure why no one else mentioned this issue in a review. The accessory mount did come in the package. The picture on the box shows a beige colored one; the actual item is black. It has two parts, a clip with an opening that adjusts with a screw and accepts the light, and a base plate the clip mounts in. A strip of hook-and-loop can attach the plate to, say, a backpack strap. There's a little lever to push on to release the clip from the plate. The corners of the plate are designed to fit the screw slot to tighten or loosen. It's a little fiddly to separate and re-attach the clip to the plate, but it works. The material appears to be some kind of resin/composite/plastic material. It seems sturdy enough, but being plastic, might be prone to cracking or breaking if impacted with enough force or dropped. Handled carefully, it'll probably be fine. I'll probably keep this, but the cap-switch issue would keep me from getting another one, and also from recommending this light.

but getting a product that includes a corroded Energizer battery doesn't instill confidence. I did also get the accessory though.

Complications arose

The Pro which I ordered turned out to be unavailable. Got the regular ones instead with a partial refund. Decent lights, but the Pro would have offered better performance and user friendliness, so slightly disappointed :(

Easy to use and the battery replacement is a no brainer. I bought a few of these for family members to either keep in the car, for running or bicycling at night, and camping. Get the accessory clip well worth it.
