bin31zI got a 1000 lumen flashlight that is 1/4 the size and was half the price like 5 years ago. It looks better too.

bin31zIt's a thrower, not a flood light

bucktenOk I'm not talking about candela, not sure why it being a thrower would make less lumens acceptable...

bin31zCome on over the BLF. There are several engineers that could explain it better than I. But I do know you will never get 3000Lm out of a single XM-L2 emitter without destroying it. I don't know of any single emitters that can emit that, except an XHP-70, in which case, is not the best emitter for a thrower anyway. The BLF GT has an XHP-35 HI.

bucktenYeah I have the BLF Q8. I got it for 40 bucks. Technical details aside, you can't charge 100 bucks nowadays for a generic 1,000 lumen light.

bin31zI got my Zebralight SC600W MKIV for 99 bucks. Trying to charge 100 for this light is insane.

bin31zHaha, totally agree. My BLF GT was $140 (early group buy). Q8 $40, My Zebralights all under $90. Even the BLF X6 from a few years ago was $25. Heck, the Special edition copper X5, and Stainless X6 in a wood box was $80
