Its weather-sealed body is waterproof to 49 feet, shockproof from up to 6.6 feet, and freezeproof at 14 degrees Fahrenheit—and it’s ideally paired with the equally rugged 11–27.5mm f/3.5–5.6 lens. The CX-format CMOS sensor produces 14.2MP images with an impressive 15fps continuous shooting rate, along with full HD 1080p video recording at 60 fps. Slow View Mode allows you to slow a clip and select a perfectly timed shot, while Live Image Control lets you slide the control bar to preview effects like background softening or motion blur. Finally, with the WU-1b wireless mobile adapter (not included), you can share your adventures instantly with any Wi-Fi–enabled device.
