I'm a bit of a photography noob, so excuse any dumb questions from me. I just picked up a Nikon D80 (yes, a D-eighty) camera body from a friend and am trying to figure out if this lense is compatible with the D80? Looking at the compatibility chart for the D80 here (https://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/57/~/what-lenses-can-i-use-with-the-d100,-d80,-d70s,-d70,-or-d50%3F), it appears that this lense is a AF-S lense, and that should work with the D80, correct? Thanks for reading!

soultronIn general, any f mount lens will work with your camera, but the link you listed is just showing what features of your camera will work with what lens. For instance, 35mm lens in question is a Nikkor AF-S lense, so with your camera, it will support every Focus and Exposure mode. It will support 3D metering and Spot metering, but not Ten-segment metering.
In short, yes, this lens is compatible with your D80. Congrats on scoring that thing, btw. It's a little old, but It'll still take some great pictures, and should last you a long time.
