Featuring a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 24–52.5mm, the lens has a constant f/4 maximum aperture that ensures consistent lighting. Vibration Reduction technology provides 2.5 stops of compensation against camera shake for better handheld shooting in low-light environments. A nanocrystal coating reduces reflections, ghosting, and flares. To maintain precision throughout the zoom range, the lens comes equipped with a silent wave motor and a full-time manual focus override.
