Low Light & Every Day Lens

An ultra-fast standard-length prime lens, the Nikon 50mm Nikkor F1.4G delivers crisp images in a variety of lighting conditions. Along with providing great depth-of-field control, the bright f/1.4 maximum aperture lets in plenty of light for night or indoor shots. The handy 50mm focal length puts a strong emphasis on your subject during portrait sessions, but is still wide enough to capture a landscape in razor-sharp detail. The Silent Wave Motor provides fast and quiet focusing, while the M/A mode enables the manual focus override for immediate focus control. Finally, the nine-blade rounded diaphragm makes out-of-focus elements blend smoothly to produce natural-looking backgrounds.
