Designed for full-frame Nikon FX-format cameras and also compatible with cropped DX-format cameras, the AF-S Nikkor 70–200mm f/4G ED VR lens packs excellent optics and advanced lens technologies into a compact form factor. When attached to a cropped sensor camera, the 35mm-equivalent focal length is 105–300mm. The constant f/4 maximum aperture ensures consistent quality throughout the zoom range and the Vibration Reduction technology provides 4 stops of compensation against camera shake for better handheld shooting in low-light environments. Along with a Nano Crystal Coat that reduces ghosting and flare, there’s a Silent Wave Motor to ensure quiet autofocus operation.
