The Nikon D5300 comes equipped with the tools to handle any situation. Features like the 24MP CMOS sensor, flip-out 3.2" LCD screen, 1080 60fps video recording, and increased battery life are designed to take your photography to the next level. You won't have any trouble staying connected either as Nikon built in WiFi, GPS, and the ability to record uncompressed footage using the HDMI out.
Note: This drop is for the Nikon D5300 body kit, which includes a 18-55mm VR II Zoom Lens.
The D5300 uses a 39 point AutoFocus, with 9 cross-types. The burst rate of 5 fps also ensures you'll catch your subject at just the right moment. Built in GPS also helps you recall where those great shots were captured. The AA-filter and optical low-pass filter (OLPF) have been removed to produce some of the sharpest images available in this price range. You also get the ability to record video in full HD at 1920x1080 (60p). The new articulating 3.2" screen is larger, has a higher resolution, and should help with framing those tough shots.
Nikon took some of the best features from the D5200 and improved them in the D5300. Handling the D5300 is a blast thanks to the reduced size and weight of its predecessor. The battery redesign increases the life from 500 shots (D5200) to 600 shots on a single charge. For even more information, check out Faymusmedia reviewing the D5300 on the video below.
