Fail. So my D5300 was awesome for about a year, and then started having issues. I set it aside for the holidays, and after the new year, sent it in to Nikon for repair. After 3 months of talk with Nikon USA, my camera was deemed unserviceable by Nikon because it was not purchased from a Nikon USA authorized dealer, and is consider Grey Market goods.
Time to look for a new one.

It's a go! The order for the Nikon D5300 DSLR 18-55mm Camera Kit was placed just after the drop came to an end. Now our vendor will be working hard to prepare it for shipment to each of you.
As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.

Any chance I would get this before Christmas? I want to give it as a gift. Mass drop is usually really slow in shipping out after drops that end.

Can someone explain how this works to me pls sorry about the noob question aha I want to order one of these and the page says that the product will be shipped by the 28th. My question is does this really mean that it will be shipped by the 28th December? Because I ordered a pair of headphones from mass drop last year and it took so long to the point where I actually forgot I even ordered it when it arrived one day. Also does "Join now" essentially mean buy now or click to purchase? Any info is appreciated.

Mass_x_ForceYou beat me to that. I got one of those as a backup camera. It's only 3 months warranty though but the camera I got is in like new condition.

Sooo, how does it work now? I've just received a confirmation e-mail with the receipt.. Should it means it is being shipped? (Should i wait for a tracking code or such?) First time on massdrop, sorry for the silly questions.
