Sure, but then maybe this isn't the kind of deal for Massdrop. I picked on this because of its obviously low discount, but this has been an issue throughout the site. Most deals aren't worth the two dollars in savings when Amazon can get the same item to me the same day. This item is a good and bad example depending on how you look at it I suppose.

OOrdinarily I'd agree with you, except in this case Nikon (and Canon, too, to a lesser degree) hold great sway over retail pricing for their products. If you look you'll find it VERY hard to find this camera (or any new Nikon DSLR camera) at anything better than a few cents cheaper than list price. So, yes, it's only 4%, but that's 4% better than you'll find anywhere else.
