Pretty Pretty Good
The other review was a bit harsh. The UI isn't the most intuitive but I was able to get used to it within a day. I docked one star because the clip is truly a mistake. If they wanted to build in a little ramp to clear the hump, they should have made it contact the body of the light or at least get close. It catches badly on the pocket and I have to do a little wiggle to get it to drop in. I'll probably take it off.

Lousy UI and clip. Good beam and button.
They had some interesting ideas with the UI, but it falls flat: you can't change brightness without turning off the light. That's awful. Next, to change brightness, you have to do a long press and wait around for your desired mode to show up. I guess the idea is you are going to go for a long time with a single mode and then need to burst to ultra occasionally. Also, long press for on and short press for off is backwards from most other lights. Violates principle of least surprise. Most other lights change mode with a short press while on: this light turns off. Most lights turn on with a short press: this light does nothing if you just short press it while off. The clip is overall good, but it snags when you try to slide it on a pocket.

If I’m paying $75 for a light, I shouldn’t have to DIY fix the clip right from the get go just for it to actually be use-able. Especially when there’s far better, and cheaper, lights on the market. I’ll never get it when someone buys a product new, and they think it’s okay that they have to fix it before they can even use it 🤦🏼‍♂️
