The Nitecore EA81 pumps out over 2,000 lumens and casts a beam nearly four football fields long—and it’s powered by batteries you probably have lying around in your garage. Featuring a CREE XHP50 LED, the flashlight offers five brightness levels, as well as strobe, SOS, and beacon search mode for special situations. Constructed from hard-anodized aerospace-grade aluminum, the torch is also IPX-8 waterproof—you can submerge it up to 2 meters—and 1.5-meter impact resistant in case you accidentally drop it. If you want it stationary, stand it on its tail. If you want to check the power level, there’s an indicator built in. Also included is a holster, clip, lanyard, and spare O-ring.
