I already have an SRT7, great light, I use it daily (nightly) at work. It is very practical to use once you get used to the direction of the UI. No brainer really, turn clockwise for more brightness and anti clockwise for less light or standby mode. Just like the dimmer light switch in your living room, but with a few extra functions. No more 10 clicks of a button just to get back to where you started or twist the head this many times to get to these hidden modes.

With the tail switch, you also have the luxury of setting it to whatever brightness/mode before turning it on. For example, I can have mine set to strobe next to my bed in case of any breakins, but I can reset it to low before I turn it on to go to the toilet if I choose so.

Also, compared to other lights in its class, it has the the most comfortable feel in your hand and does not feel bulky though still has a large reflector for good throw.

The only weekness of this light is it is not the best for tail stand, which is not a big deal for me. Also, it works best with 18650's, and will give you much better run times. I recommend using RCR123's and CR123's as backups only and will quite often not show battery indicator if used.
I am getting the SRT3 for my ECD and it can tail stand :)
