Just received mine over here in Montreal. Played around with it using some batteries I had around (CR123). Couple of things I wanna mention: 1. It's got a packet of desiccant in the tube, so you might wanna take that out before putting the batteries in (I didn't know, it ripped open, had fun cleaning the tiny little granules off my floor). 2. While it works with CR123 batteries, they don't fit snugly in the tube (17mm diameter) and jerking the flashlight around will cause the light to cut out intermittently (whereas the 18650 have an 18.6mm diameter and will work better - or so i imaine).
All in all, YAY IT GOT HERE AND IT'S AWESOME.

Rovahtry 14500, longer run time and it does not wiggle at all. Adds an inch to the length though, but that's actually a good thing for me ergonomically.
