Custom battery = deal breaker

I don’t think your right.

18650: Conventional 18650 / 3.6V / N (incompatible)
21700: Conventional 21700 / 3.6V / N (incompatible)

It says it needs an i series custom battery so I don’t think my standard 18650’s & 21700’s purchased from illumn.com or wherever will work.

RoosterCogburnI checked reviews of the light and the custom 21700 is required for the USB-C charging to work so I guess you are right. It can run on 2x CR123 also. $22 for the custom Nitecore battery. After reading reviews this is one quirky light. Some strange features.
