A 2016 Red Dot award winner, this 1,000-lumen torch is made with Precision Digital Optics technology, providing superior reflector performance and a powerful beam—so powerful it can cast a light further than 1,500 feet. I was soooo close to getting in on this drop...but a $32usd postage charge to AUS (which roughly equates to $43.30aud! Item $87.92) is possibly the most abrupt/aggressive retail buzz kill since.. Bangkok in a dark alley, on a mad night many years ago! Honestly, if it arrived in 3-5 days ok, but.. it won't(!) so how is this drop expected to develop a larger (global) client base if the terms are restrictive to the greater market? Isn't that contrary to the initial concept MD?

What's the best battery for this? 18650 I'd guess but I don't have a clue as to the rest.

I recommend this light. Not good for pocket edc but yes for off body carry. Extremely long throw and even cooler, red, green and blue color options. Also strobe with the colors. This light is a couple years old so I’d check around on the pricing. also, nightcore is releasing some killer new options I’d check out too.
EDIT: i recommend the P10 for EDC. (Instant strobe)

Is this a good pocket thrower? I see it comes with a sheath so that might be acceptable, but I was looking for something you could more so just fit in your back pocket

Sr.sizemicNo problem. If you're looking for a pocket thrower, there is a new light that recently came out. The Emisar D1. It's $40 and could be found on either mtnelectronics or intloutdoors. If you live in the US mtnelectronics will get it to you faster. You do need to buy a battery and charger but its supposed to be a pretty good light, I ordered one for myself. I'm just waiting for it to come in

$80.00? Thats not even close to a good deal. Full retail is $89.95. I bought one over 2 years ago for $49. It is a damn nice flashlight though. Great light to carry in your car while traveling. In case of a breakdown, it has flashing red, green and blue, and even a police flasher.
