Perfect little light
I'm quite a flashlight enthusiast, and this is my absolute favorite headlamp. It is compact enough to pack on almost any trip, the battery lasts a very long time, and the auxiliary light modes (high CRI+red) are amazing. This is the brightest red headlamp I've ever used (fortunately it has two brightness settings for the red light). I bought two more for my friends just because I was so blown away at how great this little light is.

Sometimes these "nitecore" drops seem less than usual quality - this one was an exception! Fits great and it's the perfect balance of brightness and battery life.

Everything you want - with one minor flaw
Love size and the weight of the headlamp itself. Love the multiple light settings and especially like the the red light features. The light power (lumens) seem just right for backpacking. Enough battery for the three day weekend warrior type of hiker, and easy to recharge if you want more life out of it.
However, I'm not a fan of the headband. Going to replace it with the bungee cord mod that others have done to reduce the weight of the headlamp by 30- 50%.
