I own this headlamp, it’s perfect for lightweight backpacking. It has all the necessary features including an ‘off’ lock so it doesn’t drain in your pack. It is super light, and super bright. However, if you use the highest output mode, it will drain really fast. The headband is bulky, so I got a simple elastic cord version from litesmith.com. After countless hours of research, this was the best I could find, and it doesn’t disappoint.
