Does anyone know if there is a bicycle mount for this light? I know nitecore makes a bicycle mount for lights that are 1" in diameter but I think this light is has a larger diameter. I saw a custom made one made in a 3d printer but this isn't available from the maker anymore and I don't have a 3d printer to make my own :( Then there is the issue about its inherent design being primarily a handheld light; will it be able to withstand the constant vibration and shock impact it would be subjected to installed on a bike mount? All this being said I think this would make an awesome bike light. Any thoughts anyone?

I_love_stuffYou could just make a custom holder. PVC, Hose clamps, and spray paint come to mind. Unless you're one of those people that obsess over the way a thing looks. If you need a light with this kind of output, I doubt you're riding in the day anyway, so who cares what it looks like?

zebra6kThat sounds like a possible solution. Can you point me to a site that has instructions on how to make such a holder? I definitely don't mind it looking ugly if it works. I will trade aesthetics over functionality and practicality anytime.

I_love_stuffNot sure if there's any tutorials but here's an idea off the top of my head get this: https://www.amazon.com/Original-Quick-Fist%C2%AE-mounting-equipment/dp/B000CQPANY/ref=pd_sim_328_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41mQlgTaV8L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR104%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=EF2T5BWB13JX0BF506KW
and this: https://www.amazon.com/LAMPHUS-Cruizer-Horizontal-Clamp-Mounting/dp/B00MG9D1G8/ref=sr_1_15?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1467572168&sr=1-15&keywords=rubber+clamp
You might have to mount something to the handlebar clamp as a transition piece between the two clamps like a small piece of 1/4 inch plywood. If those rubber clamps are too pricey, you could use some stainless steel hose clamps but the rubber ones will be way more convenient. You'll need some hex bolts, lock washers, and a drill with the appropriate bits to complete it. Good luck if you try it :)

zebra6kThis is pretty ingenious, thank you very much for your solution. Those clamps will come in handy for another project I have in mind. I discovered that this like has a standard 0.25 threaded hole which is compatible with a multitude of camera attachments and mounts. I found a particle solution that looks perfect for this use case,

I'm not sure what the weight capacity is but it's designed to attach video cameras which I think weight much more than this light. I especially like that you can angle the head of the mount which is good because this way I don't blind motorist with 4000 lumens of light lol ;-)
