Will I be able to use the FreeSync option on this monitor if I have a Nvidia GPU or nah?

GoGoGadgetzNo. Nvidia = G-Sync, and AMD = FreeSync for the time being.

GoGoGadgetzNo you will not, however with a refresh rate this high the likelihood of experiencing screen tearing is minimal. Any nominal v-sync options should be more than enough to compensate. If your looking for a cheaper high refresh 1440p this is a very strong contender regardless of GPU manufacturer. Most other 1440p monitors with this kind of refresh rate and G-sync are several hundred dollars more at minimum.

KinsonHooliganThanks for the info! I was looking at the Acer XB271HU and yeah it's about double the price but with G-sync.

GoGoGadgetzThe best G-Sync alternative right now is the ViewSonic XG2703-GS. While using the same panel as the Acer and Asus options, it comes with a more accurate color-preset (better visual quality out of the box), and ditches the frame-less bezel in favor of a solution to mitigate the edge bleed, similar to what Nixeus is doing. It's also generally the cheapest option. It's $699, and Newegg is currently running a -$30 promo code for it that expires soon. AOC has an option that also hovers around $700, but the ViewSonic has it beat.
