Are there any reviews for this monitor anywhere online?
Well, it hasn't been released yet... So Probably not. It's most likely using the same panel as simular Asus monitors, or the Pixio PX277 to be more specific.
Was looking at the PX277 for quite some time myself, they do have a pixel perfect option for $50 more which is nice to see. Down sides compared to this monitor is that the PX277 freesync range is 40-144 Hz while this one is 30-144 Hz. The Nix also has a better base that can be completely removed for VESA setups, unlike the PX277.
You can remove the base on the PX277 if you aren't worried about "voiding the warranty". Legally, opening the case does not void the warranty, but if you have a problem and need to RMA it they're probably going to make a fuss about it and you'll need to have a lawyer write them a letter... which probably costs more than they're selling the monitor for.
Not to forget that Nixeus RMA service is probably 5x easier to work with than Pixio's. I've never had to return a product to them, but their warranty on this product is pretty strong.
