I'm just wondering what everyone plans to use to drive this monitor? I currently have a RX 280 and was hoping to have Vega around the same time as this monitor. As we know, Vega wont drop until the end of July and the 500 series cards have been eaten up by miners. I am excited to get this monitor, but sad that I won't be able to see it's potential for several more months.

liscombcCurrently running a Fury X with an LG 34" UW 1440p and can get solid 60FPS with decent settings as long as the driver/game has been optimized for PC release (Looking at you ME: Andromeda and you're pathetic 30 FPS). This is replacing my secondary monitor which is just a basic 1080 I've had for years and this will likely become my primary with the UW at the secondary screen.
Should last me until we get a Vega release and hoping for at least 1080 performance from it. Hopefully better to keep NV on their toes.

Lynex83I know it's a strange concept, but surprisingly we don't all play the same games. Isn't it weird? It's like there are tens of thousands of them to choose from. But I'm glad you know exactly which games I'll be playing and ensuring that I won't be getting 144hz. Thanks for your tier 6 advice. /insert 1 metric ton of sarcasm

StoneBoneOh, so you're buying the non ti version of an FE card. Thats where the mistake comes in. 1080ti FE is 700 on Newegg.

liscombcFury non X here. I know I'm not really going to hit 144 FPS in the games I play, but I can settle until we get Vega. I was also thinking we'd get Vega not long after the monitors. I'm upgrading both resolution and refresh rate, so I'm pretty excited.

StoneBoneYea I dont know whats wrong with him. I assume he is a little kid to be acting like that. Reminds me of a young kid acting out for attention. I won't be able to use the free sync portion which sucks but i mainly play Rocket league and PuBg so it should be fine. Im just excited after backing this the second day which felt like at least a month a half ago its finally shipped. No more stupid overclocked 73Hz monitor.
