I got an answer
"Thank you for your interest in our product. The EDG 27 will follow the same guideline as our NX-VUE24 warranty policy.

The official warranty information will be updated shortly on our live site.
Thank you"
this is their response. Use that in your decision to buy or not. I'm unsure myself.
ariacraftThank-you for reaching out! I apologize for not responding to the community earlier as I was caught up in other things.
There seems to be a bit of a confusion regarding Pixel Policies regarding monitors and panels from the tech community. So I will try to explain this in a way that every one hopefully can understand. NO major monitor company that I know of has a complete 0 pixel policy for both Bright (Colored/Stuck) AND Dark(Dead) Pixels for the whole warranty duration of their consumer monitors.
Here are some web links to the Pixel Policies from the Three of the Top Computer Monitor Makers in the World:
DELL = Only has a Zero Bright Pixel Policy for their Premium Line of Monitors (not for all their monitors), Dark Pixels are not considered a defect:
http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/4/SLN130145/dell-lcd-display-pixel-guidelines?lang=EN
Not sure if their gaming monitors are under the same pixel policy.
Acer = Allows up to 16 Pixels for a 2560 x 1440
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/dead-pixel
Every monitor maker adheres to the ISO standard for allowed pixel anomalies for their warranty period. The ISO standard is what Acer is using for their Pixel Policy in the link above - it explains it clearly.
The NX-EDG27 will share the same warranty as the NX-VUE24:
Our 3 pixel anomalies policy covers the whole 3 years and includes both bright (aka stuck or colored) AND dark (aka dead)...
For example you may get a monitor with 0 pixel anomalies, but a year or two later if a group of 3 pixels or more appear we will warranty exchange your monitor. Our 3 pixel policy meets and or is better than the ISO standards and including other monitor vendors.
EDIT for Additional Information: Bright Pixel Anomalies (aka stuck or colored) can be made active again or repaired by running a video that changes Red, Blue, Green backgrounds (could be for a few minutes to a few hours) then gently massaging it with some thing soft like an eraser end of a number 2 pencil - this is similar to how we do it for warranty services. Bright pixel anomalies some time disappear by themselves through normal use or appear later (even if you never have them before) - which is why our pixel warranty policy covers the full 3 years.
nixeusThanks for the info. I think the bigger issue though is that if people buy from a place like Amazon and find a dead pixel or bad backlight bleed, the just return the monitor. If they buy from MD they're out of luck unless the fault exceeds your listed conditions.
I agree which is why we sell those exact Viotek monitors here on Massdrop. In fact Massdrop was the first to sell them. However, a 27" IPS 144hz running at 1440p is gaming perfection. The best of everything.
I run 1440P/144HZ and basically every game is 120-144FPS on ultra. The heck does someones PC performance have to do with how big pixels are in a 32 inch 1080P monitor? Sounds like you have no idea what youre responding to.
I sit barely 2~ feet from my monitors. At that distance, the 27 inch 1080P screen to my right has obvious quality differences. Its fine for watching YT or anime, but trying to game when distracted by how large everything is for the screen space i have is offputting.
Hello Everyone,
I just got off the phone with Nixeus on this. They have been in contact with the Massdrop logistics team during this week about the shipment clearing customs in time to ship out on the expected shipment date of 06/05. We are on schedule to do that and Nixeus has confirmed they will be able to ship them out this coming Monday.
Also, as always if you need help or have questions please tag me in the post. As you can see I have responded and verified with the vendor Nixeus within 24 minutes of Thephoenix3000's post in which he tagged me.
Cheers.

Thank you once again! I was just about to check and see if I had a tracking number yet. I'm assuming those will be available after a day or two in shipping?
Just an FYI:
While advertised as IPS, they are actually using an AU Optronics made AHVA (advanced hyper viewing angle) panel. This uses IPS-like technology but isn't called IPS due to trademarks held by LG/Sharp.
These panels are known for inconsistent quality and a higher rate of defects relative to IPS and PLS panels.
Seconded on tftcentral. hmmm That acer is a TN. Most AHVA panels have overshoot issues if they are using extreme overdrive settings to achieve 1ms or low G2G response times. It would not be abnormal for this ahva panel to have some overshooting as well if you end up using the high settings for overdrive.
EVGA446Good catch. I'm not surprised that no one noticed for all this time. I was referring to XB270HU not HB270HU. HB270HU does not exist). Panel: 27"WS AU Optronics AHVA (M270DAN02.3).
I'll edit the post to correct that error.
Yo, let's all admit it. This monitor is soo dang good, but...Price is a little bit salty. Yeah the monitor is amazing, but calm down. $400(plus shipping)? I don't know about others, but I ain't buy it.
Ice_Cr3aMAre you kidding? Comparable monitors have less Freesync range and are in the $600+ price category when not on sale or something. Even the $499 MSRP is a good price. For $399.99+ $21 shipping its a steal.
MyGoodsExchangeYou made your point known now let people make their own decisions
Edit: wait your just Hawking your own shit. Your a real turd of a person. How bout you pay for advertising like massdrop does rather then trying to steal customers from someone else's site.
