Does anybody have experience with this high of refresh rate monitor? My understanding is you either tank the visual quality to get the 240hz or you make it look decent and have a middle ground of 150-200hz or something. How does this one perform in that regard? And lastly what is the most comparable monitor to this in this price range for a 4k monitor, and the same range for 240hz monitor?

WychuI think (at least from my knowledge), that there is no equivalent 4K Monitor within the same bracket of build to price ratio yet. In fact a quick search of New Egg reveals that there are 4K monitors, with a maximum *144hz (not truly a real 144, as it's nVidia's overclocked G-Synch), maybe in a few more years we'll have them, but not now. *EDIT: screens that support AMD's Freesync technology can go up to 240Hz.

WychuThe input ports for this monitor is DisplayPort 1.2a and HDMI 2.0 = all four inputs support 240Hz and FreeSync/G-Sync (note: G-Sync only works with DisplayPort input). Only way it does not is if your source device/hardware and DisplayPort or HDMI cables are not compliant (ex. HDMI cable is HDMI 1.4 and not HDMI 2.0).
