It's a variant with consistently higher quality control according to people with both. (better clicks, better mousefeet etc.)

ExitHaven't used my Revel much yet but so far first impressions are very favourable. M1 and M2 feel great, not too light that I can click them by accident but not too heavy that I feel like I am having to push down with any real force. Side buttons feel ok (I can see why some aren't keen but I quite like them/rarely use them). Tracking seems good but I haven't played any FPS games yet which is where I will notice the difference, having said that I am moving to from a generic £7 mouse as my gaming mouse broke 6+ months ago so anything will be an improvement!
Hopefully get some gaming in tonight :)
