Thank you for offering Nomos watches. I have been a big fan for a long time. Your clients might appreciate the Metro a little more from a design perspective if they knew that it was inspired by the Berlin 'Metro'. Nomos leans heavily into Bauhaüs minimalist design. It's influence is a century old and will likely be beautiful for at least another century. Also, appreciate that they are utterly self-sufficient in an industry that borrows heavily from very few parts suppliers (and from four hundred years of very, very slow development). Just one more thing before I go: Horween leather is a horse leather which is extremely durable yet thin and water resistant. Embrace that watch strap for it's look and its superior endurance. AxeguyGreat comment mate! Indeed information like that helps getting to know what you are actually paying for. When designing their minimalist products, every small decision has a crucial effect and that is why those are much harder to design than one might think.
Just one correction for general knowledge...
Horween is one of the best tanneries in the world today (and one of the oldest) founded 111 years ago and based in Chicago IL. They do use Horsehide but not exclusively, as they do use Cowhide as well....
The specific leather that you are referring to is called Shell Cordovan, and they are very well known for it as it is one of their signature products. It is sourced from a very specific and small oval-shaped part of the Horsehide and it is one of the most complex leathers to produce. Nomos use Shell Cordovan for all their straps and it is noticeable at person, can't recommend them enough! Wish I could pull the triger as this is one of my favorite watches but I'll have to wait a bit longer.... Massdrop I hope it will not be a one time thing. I'm sure the demend for it is high, but as it is the case with most "big" purchases, the majority of people need some time to prepare the necessary funds for such a deal now that they know you offer these (same goes for Junghans and such).
