What's even more sickening than the cable:
"At checkout, choose from several different connectors. You’ll have the option to add a 3-pin XLR male adapter (+ $127), a 3-pin XLR female adapter (+ $127), a 2.5mm 4-pole adapter (+ $127), a 3.5mm mini adapter (+ $127), or a 4.4mm 5-pole adapter (+ $170). You can also add a 2-meter extension cable with a 3.5mm stereo mini, 6.3mm stereo phono, or 4-pin XLR male termination (+ $400)."
Each one of those extra charges are neutrik connectors which cost 4-5$ a piece.
DenonFanboyLove how they use precise prices, like $529.99, or (+$127) like they're the result of precise cost and competition analysis and not just the accountant smashing his face on a numpad.
