I got a pair a while back and it fit pretty good however you're right, they didn't sound that much better than your generic $25 earphones. I had to return them for that and the part that goes in the ear was kinda scraping the inside, I might not have been the best fit.

I bought these last year and I loved them. The guy that said they are like apple buds is FOS, I loved them and I own LCD-2's and the Harmony 8. The only reason I returned them was to help finance the H8 when it was first sold here on Massdrop. I'm thinking about buying these again at some point so I don't have to worry about ear wax clogging up the phones (which is a big problem with customs). Easily the best pair of ear buds I have owned. These earphones fit great and sounded great. I highly recommend them. And if there's even an issue with these phones, you can send them back for repair and THEY PAY FOR SHIPPING. If you want a custom experience without forking out a fortune, you need to check these out.
