Really cool, but with some drawbacks.
Long story short, mine came while I was at a LAN party. So, when I got home and plugged everything in, I found that my computer wouldn't start. Found out after hours of troubleshooting that the mouse mat was drawing too much power from the motherboard and was preventing my system from booting.
Now that it is in a separate power source, the mat looks really, really cool. They did an amazing job with the optics and the way that the light gets distributed throughout. The fabric is nice and soft that makes moving my Model O over it feel friction-less.
The mouse pad isn't perfect. Mine came with some warping issues on the bottom left of the pad. It's not severe, and I don't notice it while gaming. I don't know if it is related to how hot it has been or how it was packaged and shipped, but it is worth mentioning because it is noticeable. It would also be nice if there was a setting to turn everything off, seeing as it is plugged into a separate power source and won't turn off with the rest of my equipment when I power off my computer.
Besides getting the power issues and the wrinkles figured out, it has been a great desk pad so far. However, I wouldn't really recommend buying this yet until they get some quality of life things figured out.
EDIT:
I've started to notice after a couple of days that the warping is starting to flatten itself out. Granted it has been super hot, but the mat is looking much less wrinkly. I've been leaving my keyboard on the edges of the pad while I'm at work. If I can get it to flatten out completely, I might change my review to 5 stars.
YOU CAN TURN OFF THE LEDs!! Long pressing the light button will turn off the LEDs, and another long press will turn them on again.
Update:
Now that I've had the mousemat for several months, I can definitely say that I love this thing. The edges and corners have flattened out completely, and the lighting has been exceptional. Every time I show people pictures of my setup the first thing they see is the mousemat. For $30, this mat is a killer deal! You just have to practice some patience and do some research. However, just a word of warning, don't do any paper work/math on top of this mat. The eraser has a tendency to stain the lighter parts of the mat and make it look dirty, which is why I'm glad that the mat I got is darker where I generally use my mouse.

Great deskmat
A Novelkeys deskmat with RGB need I say more? Novelkeys have produced some of the best-looking deskmats out there, and they feel equally as good! They always have a soft fabric texture that has a sponge feel when pressing into the deskmat. Personally, I’m not a big RGB fan and prefer a more minimalist set up but having a little RGB can add plenty of taste make a set up look much better. What better way to do that than by an RGB deskmat?

Nearly perfect!
Pros:
#1 most important- The material is great, really fun to poke, love it enough that I threw away my old mouse pad instantly that I've had for probably 10 years.... Doesn't get cold (I have a metal desk) which is a huge bonus cause it covers a large area. I got dust all over it and it wiped off super easy. All my computer paraphernalia fits and moves smoothly. The lighting works, looks good enough, and has simple choices (could have more!) Cons: The only reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5 is because it is not perfect. #1 most important- Around the lighting rim there are small dots that appear here and there (little flaws) that shine and are an eye sore from close up. Luckily I can't see them from straight down so it doesn't bother me that much. The second issue is the corners and dock station. The lighting is extra bright on the corners and where it connects to the station. Small, but still imperfections. Lastly, there is no option for no color. Yes I can unplug it, but there should be an option to have it just off. Also there could definetely be more choices! P.S. I didn't receive any warping as severe like the other reviewer posted. However, mine had a really hard time laying flat and bubbled similarly. I took some books and heavy bottles for more precise weight and lay them all over the issue spots. After a day it stayed flat without any bubbling. Overall: I like it, I'm worried about the consistency to recommend it whole heatedly, chances are another won't have these small dots, and one might be really warped. It is a shame, but without seeing what more people received it is kinda risky. NEVERTHELESS, I would definitely get one... These issues can be fixed or dealt with, however for the price? You're only paying for the design, you can get a plain black RGB pad for half the price on amazon that has 5 stars and can be replaced if there are any flaws such as the ones I have listed. If you love the design like me, then go for it, otherwise, maybe save the money?

gotmoosefurFound out that long pressing the light button will turn off the LEDs. You turn them back on by doing the same.

Just As Expected
Wonderful surface texture/material, slightly squishy, but not rubbery. The lightloop that goes around the outside is a fun novelty, and the light looks fine but I bought this for the pattern not the lights. A bonus that I had not even considered is that my cherry mx-blues actually are a bit less 'echo-ey' with the pad below the keyboard. I'm not sure how best to describe it but it's a pleasant auditory change!

Great at first, but the light pipe barely emits any light anymore
Like the title says, it was great when I first bought this. The LED light pipe was very bright and had just the color I wanted. After owning this desk mat for 6 months though, the light pipe barely emits any light. You can barely tell it's even on. Disappointing that it would reduce in luminescence so much. The actual desk mat otherwise has held up well, but it was more expensive the the one sans LED, so I would expect that feature to last more than 6 months.

Solid mat, not so great lights
The mat design is beautiful but the lights are both underwhelming and cause some issues with the mat itself. The ring of RGB lighting that's stitched on the edge has a stiff enough memory that it causes the mat to not want to lay perfectly flat.

Good mousepad, but lights died
The lights began to fade after about a year, and after two years they are almost not visible at all. I don't even bother plugging it in anymore.

Lights stop working entirely over time
This mousepad has lasted me like 2 years at this point. Its pretty nice functionally and looks good. Unfortunately the rgb strip stops glowing as much over time. Mine is at the point where it doesn't light up at all anymore.

Looks great, hard to maintain
Looks great on a desk with the rgb on. Might have to do a bit of work cuz mine came with the light channeling tube all scrunched up on one side leading to the mat being wavey. Also its hard to clean due to the fact that you cant just chuck this in a washing machine. But that is par for the course on a mat like this so I can't blame them
