I grow weary of these "I always wanted a (fill-in-the-blank) so I spent the last (fill-in-the-blank) years creating one from scratch" stories launched on kickstarter, from here today, gone tomorrow, always out of stock, micro-brands. Not to mention the fact that when it comes to Smart-Watches, I'm smart enough not to go with a non-standard example from an "if-y" developer. You?

RayFIdk, I'm torn on purchasing it myself. I hear you. But that's how smart watches started in general. The pebble was the first smartwatch in the market. And then yes, samsung and many others began making more polished watches. But the pebble watches by themselves are still great, I loved mine. That small microbrand got bought out and there is no more software Support. The companies either get abandoned or bought out. But a fun watch for a few years is still worth it, I think. The nowa watch is priced as a fun watch you can wear for a while.
