Fantastic Colors
I got the blank keycaps for my Vortex Race 3 and it was great for it. I see a lot of posts around the internet talking about the odd shape and placement of some of the keys on this keyboard, but I love the keyboard, and finding a keycap set that was blank and has beautiful color pattern to it (I got the Sunset Blue) was the perfect solution.

Great quality
The printing is great and it is very helpful that they include some many extra caps for so many layouts for the price. This is my first ever DSA set and I don't think it's for me, but that's not the caps fault I figured I would try them. Would definitely buy from this brand again.

First lets do The Good Parts:
  1. Look: The overall look on the keyboard is a subtle gradient, and it's done quite well, save for a small gripe I'll get into below. The color palette is really nice, and gives a wispy cloudy effect when combined with the gradient.
  2. Legends: Black, thin-to-medium weight, retro art-deco style typeface. The glyphs are all uppercase and look stylish.
  3. The mod keys are all text legends, and look to be the same font and mostly present well (see my caveat below).
  4. Typing on them feels nice, as they have a slight texture on them that is just noticeable.
  5. The profile of the keyset itself, being DSA, means all have the same low height. Or at least supposed to (see issue below). The other thing to note about DSA is that honestly, I find typing on this profile rather enjoyable. I often prefer rather to type on SA keycaps on the other end of the height spectrum, but these feel great.
  6. The sound profile is good too. They have the potential to present a crispy-subtle pop on most keys, and a decent thock on others, depending on the rest of your configuration, that is. For reference, I'm using them on a NK65 w/ lubed & filmed Gateron Black Inks on a brass mounting plate.
  7. Price point -- very good value for price.
  8. Stepped Caps with a centered mount!! I've been wanting to use stepped caps for awhile now, but none of the boards I've had supported, but with this one it's covered.
So the bad parts.
  1. Space bar came warped. One end is noticeably higher off the end of a level surface. I know there are techniques to address this, which I will be looking into. But bottom line is, points off, you can't deliver warped products.
  2. Issue with the look: This keyset really looks to be targeted at a Full/TKL demographic. So, the lack of full support for 60, 65, and other less common sizes, especially at the price point, is definitely understandable. But a couple of extra keys colored in different shades of the light blue would've allowed for more consistent blending on my 65 layout.
  3. Perhaps it would look hideous in reality, but my brain is looking at the text of these mod keys and wanting them to be just a smidge weightier? Same size, or even a hair smaller? Case in point, on the Stepped Caps Lock!! (whoo) It looks like they tried to keep the same font size as the other mods, but had to do two lines instead of one because of the step. But the size doesn't really work with a two line legend. I think a slight smaller if you'd like to keep the two line, or stay one line but just have the legend be 'CAPS'.
  4. Oh and give me some Mac keys. Or at least some alternative to a 'Win' button. And no, 'ALTGR' (whatever that's supposed to mean) that comes in the set doesn't fit the bill.

Love!
I absolutely love how these look. With the backlit keys on the ALT there's a little bit of shine through, but not enough that it looks bad. I kinda wish I ordered more sets for my other keyboards since they look and feel amazing.

Decent quality, some misaligned legends
First off I really liked the 2 plastic trays with bubble wrap that they used to ship the keycaps. They are simple, compact and effective at storing all the caps. Moving on to the actual keys. I put them on a KBD75 custom keyboard and the keycap colours are accurate as was shown on Drop's photos. What was not so impressive was the misaligned legends on several of the keys. Just off by looking down at my 75% layout. The legends that are misaligned are keys: 1, 3, -, p, i, r, w, q, s, d, x, b, n, m, <, del, left alt. Most of these misalignments aren't that jarring over a quick glance, you have to really look closely to spot the slight misalignment to the left on many of these legends. The worst misaligned legends are actually on keys: B, I, W. I find such misaligned legend printing actually rather common on lower priced dye subbed PBT keysets. There seems to be always some legends that will be misaligned on such sets. Hence for lower cost sets usually the blank keycaps are best because no legends, no chance of seeing misaligned words. Another issue with PBT keysets especially are warpage of the longer keys, such as spacebars, backspace, enter, shift key. If you are using a custom keyboard kit with low tolerance screw in stabs such as the C3 screw in stabs. These warped keys could cause your stabs to jam up. For my particular set, the spacebar, and backspace key came out of box warped. The fix for such warped keys are to dip them in hot water (like at least 80+ degrees celsius) for like 30 secs to a minute. Take them out and quickly flatten them on a really flat surface like a concrete tile, glass panel, glass tabletop etc. You just need to wrap your hand with a cloth to protect them, apply your weight on to the key to flatten it against the flat surface. Will you be happy buying this keyset? It really depends, if you don't mind the out of box warped keys and you can fix the warped keys yourself, it should be ok. Also if you are buying the blank keycap sets, the misaligned legends aren't an issue. If you are thinking of buying the printed keycap sets, then you have to manage your expectations. For nice, or near perfect aligned legends, you would still have to purchase the pricey GMK doubleshot ABS keycaps. You can look through the user photos for how the printed legends look.

Great Set - Great Price
One of the better PBT sets I've tried around this price-range. The printing is crisp without any bleed or errors, the texture is nice and hasn't worn down at all over a year of using, and the colors still pop nicely. Can't beat for the price!

Great feel and colors pop!
These caps are great for entry boards. The DSA profile is an acquired taste but after usage it's easy to get used to.
